报告题目： Biomethanation Technologies-A key player in circular economy concepts.

报告人简介：Ioannis A. Fotidis is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environment at the Ionian University of Greece and a Visiting Professor at the School of Civil Engineering of the Southeast University of China (SEU). He has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Engineering of the Technical University of Denmark and an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences in Tampere University. His research focused on waste management, wastewater treatment, bioenergy, biotechnology, bioeconomy, biorefineries, anaerobic microbial ecology, biomethanation inhibitors and optimisation of the anaerobic digestion. He studies the development of sustainable solutions for efficient co-digestion processes of different residual resources and wastewaters. Furthermore, he also has a background in crop genetics, cultivation and fertilisation as well as in plantation ecology. He has participated in national (e.g., Energinet.dk, The Danish Council for Independent Research) and international (e.g., Seven Framework Program, Interreg IV) funded scientific projects. Finally, he has more than 45 ISI publications (H-index 27) with >3000 citations and more than 100 other scientific publications.
